  Very rarely do I feel compelled (see: never) to write a negative review for any business, however my frustration with Dr. Halverson has mounted. I was sent to Dr. Halverson for a root canal on a bottom canine tooth. The pain was pretty terrible, but his office got me in quickly and efficiently. The root canal procedure itself wasn't bad, however it lasted quite a long time because Dr. Halverson was struggling to find the root of the tooth. I was in the chair for close to two hours. I got the impression that he had another client he needed to tend to, and he said something along the lines of hoping he got it, but it was tough, ended the surgery and rushed off. I was put on antibiotics and went on with life. The tooth continued to bother me, but because it wasn't sharp or terrible pain they just assumed it was a gum issue. A few months later, I got so sick of the dull pain, so I went back. They prescribed me another dose of antibiotics and told me to come back if my tooth was still bothering me. Lo and behold, that two weeks of antibiotics put me outside of my scope for their warrantied root canal work, and i'm continuing to experience frequent pain associated with an incomplete root canal. I recently got a new job and my insurance changed, and I have a waiting period for a root canal. It appears my experience was isolated, but as many know - it only takes one poor experience to cause anxiety and nervousness about future dental visits. If you do choose Halverson's office, keep an eye on your dates and don't let them excuse away your discomfort.
